TERMS...please download, sign and return. Agreement to the following terms indicates your readiness to proceed to a working relationship with me. Your understanding of these terms is critical in alleviating possible future miscommunication between us. Please call (724) 656-9578 if further clarification is needed.

GENERAL: Building codes vary from area to area. It is the responsibility of the owner/builder and not Mark Green (DESIGNER) to ensure that any drawings submitted for construction meet the requirements of all local, county, state, and national/federal codes as well as site conditions. Because of this, assistance of an architect may be necessary. DESIGNER shall not be held responsible for any cost, expenses, damages or other liability of any nature arising out of, in connection with, or in any way related to plans prepared by DESIGNER. Plans, once paid for in full by the owner/builder, become the property of the owner/builder. Custom plans are sold "as is". No warranty expressed or implied is given. You agree to all of the above conditions when you open email attachments and/or accept drawings sent through postal mail or any other means.

REVISIONS: Please see the workflow link for the typical project work flow. Upon written approval of step #3, final work on your plans will commence. ANY MAJOR CHANGES, ADDITIONS or DELETIONS requested by the client (AFTER THIS FINAL APPROVAL) may result in additional costs of at least $500. Written approval is always necessary for us to proceed. This can be done via email or fax. "Major changes" are those which in some way affect the exterior building envelope, footprint, structure, size or scope. Most interior changes will be considered "minor" and charged at the regular rate.

PAYMENT: A retainer of $1,000 is customary and will also signify the entering into of a working relationship. If there is more than two weeks between steps #2 and #3 or between #3 and #4 (see workflow page) an invoice representing the time to date on your project will be sent to you. Terms for all invoices: payable upon receipt.

WEBSITE IMAGES: Photographs of your home may be used by DESIGNER as promotional material on custom-home-design's website. General information will be used as "supporting copy" about the project, but nothing specific to the owner, the owner's name, address, or the address of the project will be used.
